[Reading] This era is a key period for rebuilding a new classical system of Chinese civilization. We must not only realize the inheritance and development of the internal tradition of Chinese civilization, but also face the changes in modern times and find an antidote that should be confused with meaning and value. Teacher Wu Zhanliang responded to this problem positively from the existing academic tradition and the national/social nature of China, and pointed out that when we establish the classical system of Chinese civilization, we must have developed civilization concepts, learn and transcend the sexual intercourse of Han, Song and Qing dynasties with Oriental classics. The first and third periods of Chinese civilization and its classical system
The Chinese civilization has always been a “super national civilization”. From this perspective, Chinese history can be divided into three periods according to the basic nature of its country. The first period was a feudal period. Although there were emperors, the countries below were quite independent, with hundreds or thousands of countries cooperating to form a national-type country built on the central government. The second period was the imperial system of the great imperial system. From the Qin Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty, the county system was implemented or planned to be implemented by the emperor as the supreme ruler. The third period is the period between the Republic and the Republic. [3] The basic nature of Chinese civilization in these three periods has undergone serious changes. Therefore, during these three periods, the so-called classical or academic concepts are actually quite different.
The first issue of the Huaxia civilization was in his ancestral life and there was no such thing as learning at that time. According to the Qing Dynasty’s chapter, the so-called “record” is a historical record of recording the three generations of sage kings such as Shun, Yu and Yu, Wenwu and Zhou Gong, and Zhuang, who were able to take the throne and practice the way, and traveled through the world, and established a stable political and educational structure. Through the construction of a world-class order, the three generations of saints allowed all the people of the country to live in peace and prosperity, and achieved great success in ethics, morality and civilization. Therefore, the records of the great profession of the later generations were recorded as the record. Baobao.com[4]
The important academic style mentioned by later generations was in the second period of Chinese civilization, that is, the imperial system below Han Dynasty. In order to meet the needs of the whole nation, Han people explained and cleaned up modern classics from the beginning. This caused the death of the Fajia in Qin Dynasty. In the early days of Han, Huang Lao also caused many problems. In the end, Fagu was able to change it, and through learning the rule of the three dynasties, the Han Dynasty was stable. This shows that during the transition from the first phase to the second phase, the change has been too large, and it has been a very unstable period. Finally, only by using classics from the beginning and using three generations of classics can we establish a stable new political and religious system. This is the important meaning of learning. The subsequent Chinese history, as Rong Youlan said, was based on academic thinking, from Emperor Wu of Han to dismiss all schools of thought and respect for Confucianism until the end of the Qing Dynasty. Mr. Rong wanted to criticize him to express his insights from the new era, but his predecessors did. In history, learning has stabilized China’s politics and religion for two thousand years, and naturally has great value.
The transformation from the first issue of China to the second issue of China, the political and educational system of China was unstable for a long time: first use the Legalists and the Secrets, and finally return to the Han people’s remarks on modern classics, and integrate into the Legalists and the Secrets. This historical experience is particularly worthy of our attention. During the period of transformation of Chinese history, important ideas on political situation and its applications—the so-called “teaching”—are often difficult to change. This is also the process of Chinese civilization’s transformation from the second to the third phase. If China is regarded as the third period of the First Republic of China, the People’s Republic of China is the Second Republic. The political and religious systems of the first and second republics were not very stable. They either used the three-people theories or Marlemaudian thoughts. Now they are turning to national and practical theories, and many people believe that they must think about exploring a new type of political and religious system. Being such a grand and unparalleled “super national civilization” requires an appropriate political and educational system to be stable. The history from Han to Qing has fully explained this point, and traditional learning has been responsible for the effectiveness of a stable political and educational system at this time. Now Chinese civilization has entered the third stage, and initially replaced the study of “theory”, but in the future, there is still a need to rebuild a new classical system and study. Otherwise, it may be difficult to maintain the stability and development of the political and educational system of this civilization.
Different from Chinese civilization, the so-called Eastern civilization is not a “national civilization” one by one, but is combined with multiple countries and civilizations along the way, and there is also a lack of the tradition of governing “national religion and religion”. Egypt and the two rivers have developed their own civilizations, especially many types of external civilizations have been introduced in the two rivers. The size of Greek city-states is very small, and the political and educational system is extremely diverse. The Roman Empire was formed by a highly differential colonial land of the Roman city-state. After the Romans rose, there was no common rule in the East.During the feudal period, a common civilization foundation was established by Christianity rather than a single national tree. As for modern Eastern civilization, it was the revival of Hero’s classical civilization on the basis of highly evacuated feudal society and Christian civilization. Therefore, although its civilizations are interconnected, it is highly politically rigorous, and finally embarked on a national system based on ethnic minority c
